The Spanish Cortes assembled at Madrid on the 18th instant,
for the purpose of swearing fidelity to their future Queen, the young Princess of Asturias. The members were required to take gin oath, that they had only been empowered to assemble, and 7were met exclusively for that purpose. The Minister of the King of Naples, before the swearing began, protested against it on be- balf of his master, whose claim to the succession would be da- maged thereby. This last circumstance is said to have consider- ably annoyed King FERDINAND and his Minister ZEA BERMUDEZ.
