Mr. Tophson should really be above publishing such a book as this. "A Pink Wedding" was indifferent, but this is really intolerable, so foolish is it, and vulgar. This seems a very rude thing to say, and we should not say it were we not sure that the author can do much better. Even here, there is a promise of something bettor in the narrative of the riot.
