A Liverpool correspondent gives a piece of news brought by

the latest arrivals from Old Calabar-" A slaver had just arrived from Ha- vannah, under Portuguese colours ; the only vessel of the sort which had been there for some years. It is to be hoped that she will be caught by our cruisers on the coast."
