Sir: I do not know the details of the services condemned in your leader. 'Not in church,' but there are manY churches dedicated to "teaching the word of God" who would certainly exclude from their pulpits anyone who disseminated the "modernised religion' which recently in your pages left uninformed readers to conclude that the celibacy of Jesus of Nazareth was an open question in mainstrearn Christianity.
