Lisboa has been again the scene of an rInteste. The
immediate cause of the riot does not appear, but the downfall of the Minis- ters was the cry. This movement had been put down without any loss of life ; and though it appears to have been neither organized nor to have had any definite object, it has been made the excuse for suspending the habeas corpus act of the Portuguese, and the liberty of their press.
