Sir: As expatriate OAPs anticipating a return to the UK in the not too distant future, my wife and I are overjoyed to learn that the EEC are insisting that Britain should reduce her monstrously exorbitant tariff on imported wines. In our opinion, there should be a special discount for OAPs — we are old enough to know when we have had enough.
