Sre,—In your review of Mr. Fitzgerald's "Book-Fancier," you quote some examples of eccentric bookbinding. Perhaps your readers may be interested to know that at the Hartley Institute, Southampton, is preserved a copy of the Bible, formerly belonging to Gilbert White of Selborne, which is bound in the skin of his favourite dog.—I am, Sir, &c.,
