Josue." By W. Lee, Minister of the Parish of Roxburgh. (Edmonston and Dortglas.)--A very ably written pamphlet, in which M. Renan's book is criticized with a not unjust severity. With the points which he takes, however, the public is by this time familiar ; but we note with pleasure that Mr. Lee recognizes that "no amount of plain speaking against religion," nor even insidious defences of it, ought to make us Ices our faith in religious liberty.
