I referred last week to the steadiness of the profit-earning power of Scribbans and Company, and at the meeting held this week the chairman, Mr. Philip E. Hill, referred to the Eta that considerable extensions had been carried out at the Smethwick factory, while the business of Greig and Doupdas, of Leith, had been purchased. The Chairman said it was expected that these developments would enable the comp inY to extend its sales in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
