The collection of miniatures, by the late Sir W. C.

Ross, has, at length, been completed by the Society of Arts ; and the exhibition will be opened on Monday. The private view afforded us a hasty glance only, but it enabled us to see that the task undertaken has been zealously performed. Many exquisite portraits of the aristocracy—particularly of ladies and children—have been lent for the exhibition, which will be found most interesting to all admirers of a style of portraiture carried to its highest point of beauty by Sir William Ross. We shall take the earliest opportunity of noticing the pictures in detail.
