Many of the Reform Peers have become most remiss in
their at- tendance in the House of Lords ; and among the absentees are to be reckoned Peers who, when Members of the House of Commons, were distinguished by the zealous discharge of their public duties.—Globe. [This is an old complaint. Zeal in the discharge of public duties means punctuality in voting with Ministers; but the reward of punctu- ality having been obtained, the motive for regular attendance disap- pears.]
