Sir; The indictment of Andrew Knight by Peregrine Worsthorne (20
January) is in- complete. Knight's most damaging act against the Sunday Telegraph was to take –or allow to be taken — the colour magazine from it when it was fighting neck and neck with the Observer. It was re- placed with a journalistic mongrel called Seven Days that could neither bark nor bite. Even its title bore no resemblance to the product. Today, at least, Seven Days is a different and more rubust beast, but the damage will take a long time to repair.
