[TO TITS EDITOR OP TEl "SrEcTiroz.") am sure you will appreciate the spirited conduct of the people of the village of Wockey Hole, which is an out- lying portion of the parish of St. Cuthbert, Wells, and con- tains about four hundred and fifty people. There is a. hand- made paper mill in the place, and a machine-made paper mill about a mile away. Nearly all the names appended to the appeal are those of men connected with these mills as employers or employed, now or past.
