APOLOGY

WE wish to state that we regret the references in the interview in the issue of 18 August to the Guildford Four. We apologise for making imputations against them and against their inno- cence and withdraw any such imputa- tions completely and unreservedly. We very 'much regret any distress it may have caused them. We have agreed to pay the legal costs of the Guildford Four in this matter.
