"Her Majesty having been pleased, under the provisions of the act 12th and 13th Victoria, cap. 77, to appoint the Right Honourable John Richards, one of the Barons of her Majesty's Court of Exchequer in Ireland, Moan tifort Longfield, LL.D., and Charles James Hargreave, Esq., to be Commissioners for the Sale of Encum- bered Estates in Ireland ; Baron Richards and Mountifort Longfield, Esq., took the oath of office on the 17th instant, before the Right Honourable David Pigot, the Lord Chief Baron of the said Court."
