un- successful attack of the Carlist General, the Marquis of VALDES-. PENAS, on a body of Biscayans, headed by LACA, formerly a Car- list officer. This news is important, indicating disaffection in the very heart of an extensive district, supposed to be entirely attached to Don CARLOS.
