At the Lyceum, an adaptation of a silly French piece,
called Une Oar& Malade, has been produced with the title of Mrs. Barrie. The " fun," as- far as the action is concerned, turns upon the annoyance which a young spark, who affects catalepsy, practises upon his nurse and his physic**. But it is not for its own merit that the piece has been "done into English*" It is for the sake of exhibiting Mr. Keeley once more in the character ett. Mr. Dickens's " Sairey Gawp"; who is on this occasion called "Mr. Harris," and is worked into the French outline. The GaMpish linniour tells as well as ever; and when the amiable sick-nurse comes in at the end, in a state of inebriation, and scatters her cards into the pit, the spectator* acknowledge the honour with becoming enthusiasm.
