Gay Tories

Sir: I read with interest your cartoon, 'I wish someone would support me — I'm a right-wing gay' in the Spectator (3 April). Sadly it is true that a large majority of Con- servative politicians do not support us, although an increasing number do and they are very encouraging and helpful.

Our group exists to promote the principle of equality under the law for ail. This belief is violated by the present legislation relating to homosexual conduct.
