Sir: Andrew Faulds says the Saudi Arabian 'woman's role is the Scots one of hearth, bed and board. And with our declining social disciplines, who is to decry that ?'
This would be funny if I could but be sure Mr Faulds were not serious. Perhaps 'he could be persuaded to keep ridiculous humbug of this nature for his pals in the House of Commons—where I'm sure it's more appreciated.
