edition of The Greek Philosophers (Smith, Elder, and Co., 18e. net), which gives a survey of thought from Thalee to Prod.,. Very considerable alterations and additions have been made since the first publication of the work.—A popnlar edition has appeared of Mr. R. P. Mahaffy's summary of the life of Frauds Toseph I. (Duckworth and Co., 2e, net).
