Chrysanthemum Growing

While the actual culture is too extens:vAa subject to be dealt with in a brief note, a great deal can be achieved in growing chry- santhemums by attention to simple things, such as ventilation, the use of a heater within reason, and fastening muslin screens to keep out damp air and frost. Mildew, encouraged by over-moist conditions, can be counteracted by dusting with green sulphur. The watering- can should be used no oftener than is necessary to prevent the soil becoming hard.
