We drew attention a fortnight ago to a letter in
the Times from a young Australian engineer who accused the workmen at Woolwich Arsenal of idling away their time. We must in fairness add that the Woolwich Pioneer for March let, a copy of which has been sent to us, contains a detailed refutation of these charges by Mr. J. E. Mills, the Secretary of the Arsenal Shop Stewards' Committee.
