The Northern Whig of Thursday gives the finale of Mr.
O'Connell's visit to Belfast. On Tuesday evening, he presided at an entertain- ment for the benefit of St. Patrick's Orphan Society. The room was crowded, but nothing occurred to disturb the general har- mony. During the night, however, the appearance of the town was most riotous. Large bodies of people traversed the streets, breaking the windows, and otherwise injuring the houses of those who had taken part in the Repeal meeting. Parties'of police were stationed at the hotel where Mr. O'Connell was; and on Wednesday morning he left the town, guarded by a strong body of policemen.
