Ste,—Some of your readers may know that a scheme has

received the preliminary sanction of the Light Railway Commission for carrying an " overhead " electric tramway up Nant-Gwynant to Pen-y-Gwryd, and thence by Cupel Curig and the Swallow Falls to Bettws-y-Coed ; and that a memorial to the Board of Trade against the scheme is being
