Pamela's THEATRICALS.

At the Porte St. Martin there is a new drama in five acts, by M. E. Plouvier, entitled Le Sang Mai. The hero is a Mulatto, born in slavery, who avenges himself for the wrongs he has suffered in common with the rest of his race, by destroying his master's plantations. Coming to Europe, he apparently murders an English nobleman in Switzerland, sad, assuming his name, lives for some time at Paris in a state of prosperous wickedness, while his former master is little more than a mendicant in the same city. At last his misdeeds come to light, and he is reduced to such straits as to terminate his existence by poison. The opera Mason Lescaut has already been burlesqued at the Varietes with the title Ma- ddon Leseaut. Madame Ristori has achieved her second triumph by her performance in Maria Stuarda, the Italian version of Schiller's play.

A letter signed " Albert Le Roy" has appeared in La Prease, referring to the recent conflagrations of Covent Garden Theatre, of the Varietes at Bordeaux, and of the theatre at Rennes ; and suggesting that in such cases the French and English public might laudably fraternize for the relief of the sufferers.

The destruction by fire of the theatre at Bourges, on Thursday week, may be added to the list of dramatic calamities.
