TRAVELLER'S HARDSHIP

SIR,—Recently I travelled from London to Gibraltar. I had to go BEA as they have a virtual monopoly. The flight was due to leave at 5.20 a.m.—tourist (there was no first class)—and it actually left towards six o'clock. At 7.30 we were given a cold breakfast with one cup of coffee. On requesting a further cup, I was told there was no more coffee available, nor was it possible to purchase a cup. We eventually arrived nearly an hour late.

What other service can be expected of a monopoly! Is there nothing that can be done about this sort of treatment?
