would do the National Government more good than the creation of a virile youth movement. The Junior Imperial League does not fill the bill, for it is as much a party organization as the League of Young Liberals or the Labour League of Youth. What is required is a rallying ground for the young men and women of all parties who support the experiment of National Government and believe it should be continued. Incidentally, such an organization might well provide a valuable laboratory for the pro- duction of a really National programme. Sir Oswald Mosley, with all the reservations he inspires, has shown that there are young men and women who want some- thing more from .polities than the opportunity of voting once every four or five years and the privilege between elections of an occasional meeting with their M.P. at a Conservative social.
