Colonel Moore-Brabazon has resigned his position as Parliamentary Secretary to
the Ministry of Transport and apparently the Prime Minister does not intend to appoint a .successor. This gives credibility to the report that the Ministry of Transport will be abolished. The movement for abolition has received indirectly powerful support from the Times, which in a leading article last Saturday appealed to the Prime Minister to overhaul the personnel of the Government instead of waiting for posts to fall vacant. There is no lack of very proMising material in the Unionist Party and it is generally felt that two or three Ministers have failed to justify their selection. * *
