standard of truth and honesty which could and Aiould always be applied to any project of advertising or selling?
As an exercise, would he please pretend that he has, say, a 1960 Austin 10 for sale. It has 70,000 miles on the axles (but only 35,000 on the clock). six previous owners, dodgy steering. brakes and body- work and (unknown to but suspected by him) a number of inner faults detectable only by a skilled technician. He needs the money very badly to pay last month's rent.
Now let Mr. Rodger write an advertisement offer- ing the vehicle for sale. Would he then submit the proposed wording to you so that we can all see how it should be done?
