The Government journal announces the discovery and de- feat of a conspiracy to overthrow the constitution and restore the Duke of BRAGANZ A. The governor of the young Emperor was the principal person concerned in this affair ; which, though made a great deal of in the Brazilian newspapers, seems to have been in reality of little consequence.
