SPECTATOR COMPETITION No. 45
Set by D. R. Peddy
Problems, whether impersonal, like the dollar-gap, or personal, like the servant problem, eternally beset the human race. A prize of £5, which may be divided, is offered for an extract from a leading article, discussing a New Problem for the new half-century, and preferably offering a solution for it. Not more than 250 words.
Entries must be addressed to the Spectator, 99 Gower Street, W.C.1, in envelopes marked "Competition," and must be received not later than January 4th. Results will be published in the Spectator of January 12th.
