By MARGHANITA LASKI it's not as if we could do anything about It
after all it's not as if we know all the facts

one can't go about putting the world to rights
it's not as if we coul4 do anything about it
we've got our own livis to lead it's best to look on the bright side as long as we can one just can't take it in it may never come to anything we've all got our own troubles what can't be cured must be endured if it's going to come it will come and all the thinking in won't alter it
it's not as if we °quid do anything about it
after all it's none of our business
there's plenty of nice things in the world if you only look out for them if you once start there's no stopping it's no use meeting trouble halfway time enough to start thinking when it actually happens a little less thought and a kg more action would be a damned sight better
nothing we think is going to make any difference to the Americans,
the Russians, the Government, the Workeri or Them
and it's not as if we could do anything about it
after all it's not as if weiknow all the facts
the world
