Australia When the Australian House of Representatives met at Canberra
on Thursday, September 12th, Mr. Bruce announced that Lord Stonehaven had granted his request for a dissolution. The House then passed a vote of supply for three months. Mr. Scullin, the leader of the Labour Opposition, did not oppose the vote, but said that the responsibility for the cost and tumult of a General Election must rest upon the Government. The General Election will be held on October 12th. • * *
