A statue is to be raised to the memory of

the late Lord Dun- Irellin, liberal M.P. forAGalway, by his constituents, we suppose in commemoration of the successful amendment in favour of rating -which turned out Lord Russell's Government in 1866. We never heard of any other act of public note done by his Lordship. Irish Liberals have faithful and grateful hearts.
