PREFERMENTS.

The Rev. R. TwOpeny, B.D. Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge, was on Tuesday last presented, by the Master and Fellows of that Society, to the Vicarage of North Stoke, in the county of Oxford. The Rev. Asleby, in the county of Lincoln, on the presentation of the Rev, Francis Barstow, of Scalebar Park, in the county of York.

On Saturday last the Lord Bishop of Peterborough instituted the Rev. Richard . Wood, M.A. (by commission) to the consolidated Vicarages of Woolastun and Irchester, in the county of Northampton, vacant by the death of the Rev. William Villiers Robinson ;--oct the presentation of Mrs. Elizabeth Wood, of Askrigg, in the county of York. The Rev. William Henry lithrriott, M.A. of Trinity College, has been instituted to the perpetual Curacy of St. Paul's episcopal chapel (old town), Edinburgh. On, Friday, the Very Rev. the Dean of Exeter instituted the Rev. John Dolbeare Parham, A.M. late Chaplain of the Englitth Episcopal Church at Amsterdam, to the Vicarage of Holne, Devon, on the presentation of Mrs. Bridget Lane, and Samuel Lane, Clerk.
