RUSSELL REVISED SIR,---Lord Russell's recent statement, 'Macmillan and Kennedy are
much more wicked than Hitler' must be welcomed. It can be taken as a belated—if somewhat exaggerated—repudiation of his strident advocacy of preventive war against the Soviet Union in the early days of the Cold War.
