THE ARABS AND BRITISH TROOPS
[To the Editor of THE SPECTATOR.] SIR,—Colonel Wedgwood says that the story I repeated " of course, Was propaganda, not truth" ; (but why "of course" ?). Professor Namier continues to " challenge " me to corroborate a story on which he continues to " express doubts." If they are really convinced of the untruth of the story, why are they so lunch agitated about it ? I am reluctantly forced to the coifeluiiOn that a story which reflects credit upon the Arabs is unwelcome, even though it in no way asperses the Jews.—
