The members elected to the Spanish Cortes are so Liberal,

that it is considered doubtful whether they will support MARTINEZ DE LA ROSA. TORENO, who has been returned for three places, is the favourite. CABALLERO, the editor of a Liberal journal, has also been elected by three constituencies. The Austrian Government is pressing hard upon the Swiss Diet to procure the expulsion of all patriotic refugees from their territory. The Diet has already yielded many points to its im- perious neighbours, and is sorely perplexed at the additional demands.
