The advices from Bologna up to the 5th January state,

that the 'Papal Government, notwithstanding it had exhausted nearly every mode of taxing its subjects, had'been compelled to make a fresh issue of paper money, in bonds of various sums from 50 to 400 crowns, amounting altogether to 200,000 crowns.
