Sir: It is a pity that you thought fit to publish, on the cover of your otherwise readable current edition, a caricature of Her Majesty the Queen.

Well-bred people regard cari- catures of Her Majesty as imperti- nent, offensive and ill-mannered.

Gentlemen do not publish them, and gentlemen do not tolerate them.
