Lessons on Form, or an Introduction to Geometry, by C.
REINER, is a publication of the lessons given to the pupils in a Pestalozzian school at Cheam, in Surry. According to the prin- ciple of the founder, they require at their outset to be accompanied by real figures ; and of course they need the viva voce assistance of the master. Hence, it becomes difficult to pass any opinion on its utility, unless subjected to the test of experiment. To our old minds, it appears overlaid. Were we to begin geometry, we should prefer going to a school Euclid.
