On Thursday, the 10th inst. the Rev. 13. P. Symons, B. I). was unanimously 'elected Warden of Wadham College, in the room of Dr. Tonrnny, who resigned on -the 14th inst. On the same day, after dinner in the hall, a handso.m.• silver epergne and plateau was presented to him by the Members of the College, in acknowledg- 'xnent of his high services as Fellow and Tutor during twenty years. On Saturday last Mr. R. W. Higgs, Mr. W. Hunter, and Mr. T. Penny, were elected Probationary Fellows of St. John's College, from Merchant Tailors School.
