P1TBLICATION8 RECEIVED.

Mustrated books and others appropriate to the season have been the chief productions of the week. Among them are numerous Woks for the young, some of which have been noticed under that heading. The great work of the week is the annual volume of Tun Posy OFFICE LONDON Dnaxeroax. Perfect as ever in its organiiation, the huge work grows from year to year with the increase of the metropolis, and more and more excites our wonder by the accuracy of its multi- tudinous details, and the admirable arrangements by which instant re- ference to any one of them is made so sure and simple a process. Among the various minor emendations introduced this year, it may be mentioned that distinguishing marks are prefixed to the names of surgeons who have registered under the new Act of Parliament, and in cases in which streets have been renamed or renumbered, the old name and number are shown as well as the corresponding new number for each house. A new edi- tion of the POST OFFICE DIRECTORY OE HAMPSHIRE, WILTSHIRE, AND DOESETSHIRE, on the plan of that for London, has been issued by the same publishers.
