The account of the quarterly average of the weekly liabilities
and assets of the Bank of England, from the 20th of September to the 15th of December inclusive, appeared in last night's Gazette, as follows—

From this statement, when compared with the returns of last month, we find that the Circulation has been diminished by 182,000/., and the Deposits increased by 648,0001.; that the Securities have been increased by 837,000/., and the Bullion reduced by 388,0001.
