This week, the price of the Spectator increases to 90
pence. This is the first increase for more than two years and is made necessary by the pressure of inflation which, despite Mrs Thatcher, does not seem to weaken. We hope that the increase will not daunt our loyal readers. All complaints, please, not to the editor but to the ex-editor at No. 11 Downing St, SW1.
