Grey Monday

Sir: 'How do you see Tuesday?' asks Angela Huth (Diary, 2 September). Easy: bright red. Just as Monday was grey, Wednesday will be Air Force blue, Thurs- day chocolate brown, Friday jet black, Saturday brilliant white and Sunday yel- low. To me they have been like that for as long as I can remember. I have never seen a convincing explanation of coloured days (or numbers); they seems only to occur in a small proportion of 'visual' people.
