Above Booker?

Sir: Irritating, this chap Booker (`An elemental calamity', 2 September). Could he be persuaded to clarify his thoughts on man and his relationship to the Universe, God, Capitalism (and everything else you may care to mention) be fore writing incomprehensible articles which merely highlight his inability to grapple with matters which appear, quite frankly, to be above him?
