16 NOVEMBER 1956, Page 15
SIR,—I have been a reader of your paper for a
good many years, and frankly 1 am very disappointed after having read your article 'The Valley of Decision' of November 2. It
is so easy to criticise, but what, may ask, would you have done?—you offer no solution to the problem. You adopt the policy of UN— `resolution, counter-resolutions, results nil.'
For a change, instead of criticising the Government let us have an article in your paper saying what you would have done in the Middle East to solve the problem.—Yours faithfully, R. B. KENWARD
