We shall return to this matter later, but we desire
to say hero that we devoutly hope that the people of North-East Ulster will now take into serious consideration the view that we have several times impressed upon them in these columns. In our opinion, they should no longer be content with a purely defensive and negative policy. Instead of such a policy, they should plainly announce before the new Parliament is elected that they mean to ask that Parliament to free them from the sword of Damocles which the Home Rule Act now suspends over their heads. The only way in which they can free themselves from this menace is by demanding from the new Parliament that the Six-County Area should be incorporated with the Kingdom of England.
