It is interesting to know that the Salonika armies, after

conquering Bulgaria and recovering Serbia, forced the passage of the Danube at several points and entered Rumania last Saturday and Sunday. Rumania had mobilized and declared war on Germany, but Marshal von Mackensen and the German army of occupation were saved from a military disaster by the armistice which took effect on Monday. The Bucharest Treaty was thus annulled by Rumania's action.
